1. Introduction

Welcome to AnkitSMD. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, services, quotations, product purchases, RFQ/BOM submissions, and all related transactions.

By accessing, browsing, registering, placing orders, submitting RFQs, uploading BOMs, or purchasing products through AnkitSMD, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue the use of our website and services.

2. About AnkitSMD

AnkitSMD is an electronics component sourcing and distribution platform providing electronic components, ICs, modules, sensors, power electronics, connectors, development boards, industrial electronics components, BOM sourcing support, procurement assistance, and alternate component recommendations.

We support prototype, R&D, educational, industrial, embedded, IoT and production requirements.

3. Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements, information provided by you is accurate and complete, you are authorized to place orders on behalf of your organization if applicable, and you will not misuse the platform or services.

4. Account Registration

Customers may create accounts to track orders, save BOMs, access quotations, maintain shipping/billing details, and access procurement history.

You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your credentials, restricting access to your account, and all activities under your account.

AnkitSMD reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found engaging in fraudulent, abusive, illegal or suspicious activity.

5. Product Information

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, datasheets, images, specifications, availability, pricing and manufacturer information.

However, product images are for representation purposes only, datasheets may change without notice, specifications should always be verified with the manufacturer, customers are responsible for validating component suitability before use, and packaging, date code and manufacturer may vary depending on stock availability.

AnkitSMD shall not be liable for design failures, compatibility issues, incorrect application usage, or engineering decisions made based on website information.

6. Pricing

All pricing displayed on the website is subject to change without prior notice, may vary based on quantity slabs, market availability, currency fluctuations, import duties, shortages or supplier revisions.

Prices displayed may or may not include GST, shipping charges, import duties or handling charges. Final pricing is confirmed only after quotation or order confirmation.

7. Quotations & RFQs

Customers may submit RFQs, BOM files, procurement requests, alternate part requests and bulk quantity requirements.

Quotations issued by AnkitSMD are valid only for the duration mentioned in the quotation, are subject to stock availability, prior sale, supplier confirmation, and may change without notice after validity expiry.

AnkitSMD reserves the right to reject RFQs without providing reasons.

8. Orders & Acceptance

Orders placed through the website are considered purchase requests and are not automatically accepted.

AnkitSMD reserves the right to accept or reject orders, modify quantities, revise pricing before confirmation, cancel orders due to stock unavailability, reject suspicious or fraudulent orders, and request additional verification.

Order confirmation occurs only after payment verification, internal validation, stock confirmation and procurement approval where applicable.

9. Payment Terms

Accepted payment methods may include UPI, bank transfer, NEFT/RTGS, credit/debit cards, payment gateways and approved business credit terms.

For approved business customers, credit terms are subject to separate agreement, delayed payments may attract penalties, and AnkitSMD reserves the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.

Orders may be held until successful payment confirmation.

10. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary based on stock location, supplier lead time, courier delays, import clearance, weather or logistics disruptions.

AnkitSMD is not liable for delays caused by courier providers, customs authorities, natural disasters, force majeure events or supplier shortages.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon shipment dispatch. Customers must inspect packages upon delivery and report issues within 48 hours.

11. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Electronic components are highly sensitive products. Returns are accepted only under limited conditions.

Returns may be accepted for incorrect product supplied, damaged product during transit, or manufacturing defects subject to supplier validation.

Returns will not be accepted for used components, soldered components, ESD damaged products, customer handling damage, incorrect ordering by customer, design compatibility issues, or opened reels/trays/cut tapes unless approved.

Return request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery, original packaging must be preserved, products must be unused and in resalable condition, and RMA approval may be required.

Refund timelines depend on inspection results, supplier approval and banking/payment gateway processing time. Shipping charges are generally non-refundable.

12. Counterfeit & Component Authenticity

AnkitSMD sources products from authorized distributors, manufacturers, OEM channels and verified suppliers.

However, supply chain risks exist globally, customers are encouraged to independently validate components for critical applications, and additional authenticity verification/testing services may be chargeable.

For mission-critical, aerospace, defense, medical or automotive safety applications, customers must perform independent qualification testing.

13. Export Control & Restricted Usage

Customers agree not to use products for illegal purposes, restricted defense applications without authorization, prohibited export activities, or activities violating applicable laws.

Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with import/export laws, customs regulations, local compliance requirements and certification obligations.

14. Intellectual Property

All website content including logos, branding, graphics, website design, product listings, text content, software, source code and procurement tools are the intellectual property of AnkitSMD or respective rights holders.

Unauthorized copying, scraping, reproduction or redistribution is prohibited.

15. Website Usage Restrictions

Users shall not attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious files, scrape product databases, abuse quotation systems, use bots without permission, disrupt website operation, misrepresent identity, or interfere with infrastructure.

AnkitSMD reserves the right to block IPs, accounts or organizations engaging in abusive activity.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnkitSMD shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, business interruption, profit loss, data loss, production downtime, engineering failures, design defects, procurement delays or third-party supplier issues.

Total liability shall not exceed the value of the order placed by the customer.

17. Warranty Disclaimer

Except where explicitly stated, products are supplied “as is”, no additional warranties are provided by AnkitSMD, and manufacturer warranties, if applicable, are governed by the respective manufacturer.

Customers are responsible for validating products before deployment.

18. Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless AnkitSMD, its employees, affiliates and partners from claims arising out of product misuse, violation of laws, breach of these Terms, third-party claims, improper application usage or regulatory non-compliance.

19. Privacy

Customer information is handled in accordance with the AnkitSMD Privacy Policy.

By using the website, customers consent to collection and processing of contact information, billing details, shipping details, order history, RFQ/BOM submissions and communication records.

20. Force Majeure

AnkitSMD shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, pandemic situations, government restrictions, supplier shutdowns, import/export restrictions, transportation disruptions, and power/network failures.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.

22. Changes to Terms

AnkitSMD reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication on the website. Customers are encouraged to review this page periodically.
